The Civil Society and Local Communities Thematic Working Group is aimed at encouraging the engagement of civil society organisations, community based organisations, local leaders, and youth and women organisations in the development of prevention of violent extremism initiatives, strengthening their skills and ensuring a whole-of-society approach focused on the local needs, priorities and actors.
